Role Overview: The Outdoor Stone Sales Associate will guide customers through the selection process of stone products for the exterior of their homes. Primarily focusing on bluestone, Nicolock pavers, ThinStone, wallstone and cobblestones for landscaping, patios, pool decks, walkways, gardens and retaining walls, this role requires a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The position is full-time, 38 - 46 hours a week, including Saturday mornings. Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate sales for walk-in customers, including homeowners, landscapers, masons, and builders, ensuring friendly and quality customer service.
• Match customers with products that align with their style preferences and budget.
• Assist in assessing project requirements and determining quantity of materials needed.
• Manage customer expectations by providing accurate information on products, lead time and pricing.
• Provide excellent customer service, including assistance with purchases, generating accurate quotations, and offering detailed product information.
• Processes customer sales transactions and coordinate delivery logistics.
• Conduct physical stock checks, as necessary.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and colleagues at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous sales or customer service experience is required, with a preference for at least 2 years of experience in the building products industry.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Basic math skills are essential for performing quantity calculations and sales transactions.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail, along with experience in payment processing systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
