Space to Work at Scale The TITAN’s 8′ x 14’4″ table gives us room to work at full slab scale, and just as usefully, room to work on more than one piece at a time. A long island or a continuous run of countertop can be programmed and cut in a single setup. So can a batch of smaller parts. We can load six or eight vanity tops onto the table at once, run them as one program, and finish the group in the time a single-piece process would take for two or three. That loading strategy is what makes multi-bath and multi-unit work practical. Instead of cycling one part at a time, we fill the table, run it, and reload. Milled Details That Are Difficult to Produce Some details are not about cutting a shape out of stone. They are about carving into it. This is where the TITAN does work that hand fabrication cannot match for consistency. Drainboards. Grooves milled directly into the countertop beside the sink, pitched so water runs back toward the basin. The channels are cut, shaped, and polished in the same program as the top, in the same material, with no applied insert or seam. Shower pans. A single slab milled to a consistent slope toward the drain, replacing a tiled base and its grout lines. The surface can be finished honed or leathered depending on the traction and look the project calls for. Recessed and dished sink surrounds. The scooped, gradually deepening area around an undermount basin, milled as a continuous curve rather than assembled from steps. The same approach produces integrated soap recesses and shaped ledges. Each of these is programmed, milled, and finished on the machine, then hand-checked and detailed by our fabricators before it leaves the shop.
