The stone fabrication process can be a bit overwhelming for many homeowners and industry professionals. Fabrication work is very precise, and there are multiple trades to coordinate, decisions to be made, and deadlines to meet. That's why we've created this guide, to help you understand the steps we take to ensure your project is successful.
Before we begin creating your dream space, certain details must be in place for a seamless project experience. Step 1, Pre-Template, lays the foundation for success by ensuring the job site is ready for template. Cabinets should be installed in their final destination, and sinks, faucets, and appliances should be on-site and placed in the appropriate room/area.
This is a crucial step in our stone fabrication process. We use advanced laser technology to create a pattern tailored to your project's specifications. Precision is important and each template ensures accuracy in our manufacturing process. We advise planning ahead and contacting us at least a week in advance to schedule your template appointment. A homeowner or builder needs to be present to answer questions such as, "Do you want the soap dispenser on the left or right-hand side?"
Based on your selected Customer Preferences, we produce shop drawings, digital slab layouts, or color renderings for your review. Customize the design to showcase special features, discuss options via a Zoom call, or visit our facility for a detailed inspection.
Once we receive your approval on the stone slab layout and shop drawings, our expert craftsmen will begin fabricating your order, tailoring the stone's cut, polish, and edges to your specifications. Please note, that the lead time may vary with our workload and your project's complexity, but rest assured, we'll keep you informed every step of the way.
Upon completion of your order, we'll contact you to schedule installation and provide an estimated arrival time for our crew. Once installed, we seal the all-natural stone with an impregnating sealer. Your presence or an authorized person is needed on-site during installation for decision-making and safety purposes.
