Powder rooms, shower floors, and niches: Mosaics suit powder room floors and shower floors, where small tiles follow the slope to the drain, as well as niches. Backsplashes: A backsplash is a small area that gets seen every day. Glass, marble, or a row of decorative inserts can carry it.
