Foyers

Did you know that foyers were originally designed as an airlock separating fireplace-heated rooms from colder air at the front entrance? In modern times, the foyer is used as a place to greet one’s guests and is therefore a perfect opportunity to make a design statement that is reflective of your personal style.

We just love this foyer designed by Westport architect, Robert M Berger. He combined Ponderosa Variegated Thinstone with Carmella Travertine flooring.

Architect Vern Swaback of Swaback Partners PLLC in Scottsdale, Arizona designed this magnificent foyer with the owner’s selection of Carrara marble flooring and Old Spruce Mountain veneer. This exquisite project was awarded the Prestigious Pinnacle Award of Merit by the Marble Institute of America.

This Art Deco inspired formal foyer boasts elegant polished limestone and marble floors. A beautiful wrought iron and wood banister frame the gently curved limestone staircase.

Warm grey and beige tones complement each other in this beautiful private residence. On the floor, Ocean Blue Travertine is set in a running bond pattern. A slab of Wild Agate is framed in metal and displayed as art in this beautiful foyer.

This Art Deco inspired foyer, designed by architect Kenneth Nadler, boasts elegant polished limestone and marble floors.
